Contemporary Vessels & Basketry

Born 1974, in Perkasie, PA. Lives in Milford, PA with her husband (and fellow artist), John Rais.

“Coming from a background in textiles, I use the repetitive looping of knotless netting to create
most of my work. Laboring over mundane objects such as pistachio nut shells,
I am able to transform them from something ordinary into something extraordinary.
The finished pieces are both elegant and curious.”
